Artesania Arts & Crafts showroom was officially started in the year 2011 by a traditional craftsmen family (also known as the descendents of Vishwakarma). The work and creation of Artesania ???s craftsmen dates back to more than two centuries. It became popular in the year 1975 that is when we received invitation from Cauvery Karnataka state government to work for a period of 3years. Initially we started our work under RDTDC "Regional Design and Technical Development of Commission " Government of India, as master craftsmen. The service to the government continued until early 2000. During this period the traditional method could not meet the larger number of productions, to prevent this we developed a method called box-casting, tools & machines. Artesania Arts & Crafts specializes in experimenting and making Bell???s from different type of metals for the sole purpose of developing different sounds. One of them was the "OM"Sound or "Om" kara which we developed during our research with number of designs. Artesania Arts & Crafts has received a very good market response with its new bell design and is now able to produce in large quantity according to the demand in the market. Artesania Arts & Crafts not only specializes in Bells, but also in many other items such as??? Idols representing deities or decorative sculptures, different types of Oil Lamps, Utensils made of Bell-Metal, Brass and copper, and other interior and exterior decorative items. During the early 1950 the metal craftsmen followed the traditional methods, after 1950 the making of metal craft started adopting modern techniques and the standard was very high because the use of improved and modern tools, designs, multipurpose machines and the box casting method. Due to this the production is more and the metal craft gained more popularity. Our aim is to maintain traditional designs and quality so buying our products gains them prosperity and peace in their lives???
